MRS. SAM
Hey there! My name is Sam Ireson, ISR Instructor serving the East TN and surrounding areas.
A little background on myself. I married my childhood best friend five years ago and we have two babies together! One furry and the other our beautiful two-year-old daughter, Olivia. (You may be seeing her a lot around during sessions) Olivia is an ISR graduate in Fort Myers, FL. After watching her soar through ISR lessons we became avid advocates of the ISR program.
Through research right before calling the Sevierville area our new home from sunny SWFL I realized there was a lack of resources where I knew ISR would be an amazing asset for parents and caregivers here like I felt when I first became an ISR Mama myself. So, I studied right underneath Kathy Cole who is a Senior Master Instructor, but also the one who taught my daughter her skills.
My background includes a BA in Communications from Florida Atlantic University as well as an M.Ed. in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University. With this background and working over 5 years in elementary classrooms I knew that I didn't just need to dip my toes in the water with this but leave a big splash of an impact!
With this not only being my background, I also maintain certification in CPR, First Aid, and AED. As passionate as I am to be a proud parent of an ISR graduate, I am equally passionate with teaching your kids the very same ISR Self-Rescue skills, and there is nothing more rewarding than making a difference in a family's life. I want to ensure confidence in not only you as the parent but also your child so summers by the pool, lake, or any body of water can be more enjoyable with that extra layer of protection taught to your children.
